We are a charitable trust, which means we rely on donations to enable us to provide a continuum of care for the older folk in our community. Specific Fundraising Projects
Help to extend Cognitive Function in our Residents with Omi
Proven to help people with early stages of dementia the OMi - Motion Activated Sensory System. Our residents at Moana House and Village would benefit immensely from this amazing tool. The overall findings of this independent research have shown that the system was pivotal in encouraging movement, improving emotional wellbeing, helping with communication through reminiscence and nostalgia, and providing calming effects through sensory responses and interactions.
